Posted on April 8th, by dhamilton in Video, Watch. No Comments

There are a lot of situations we’d rather not be a part of. We all know people who have problems we’d rather just avoid. They make us uncomfortable and a little anxious. And we just don’t want to get our hands dirty. But today in John 9 Jesus and a man born blind will show us that you have to get your hands a little dirty if you’re going to see God do some great things.

We have one mission as a church. To make disciples. But often times it’s hard to understand what our place in that mission is. We can think it’s for the “Peter’s,” the ones who Jesus calls to walk on water while the rest of us sit back and watch them do amazing things. But the reality is we can all get out of the boat and win disciples. Join us as we take another look at the story of Jesus walking on water.

We have one mission as a church of making disciples. But many Christians never bring one person to Jesus. It’s not that they don’t want to. More often it’s that we don’t know how to. We think it will take some miracle on our part to make a disciple, that we will have to walk on water, but really it’s a lot more practical than that. Check out how you can do some fairly simple things that can make a big difference in someone’s life.

Today we look at another Prodigal Son story in the bible as we look at the relationship between Aaron & Moses. The constant narrative about God is He wants to forgive us. But for a lot of us who have been forgiven, we might believe God doesn’t want to punish us, but we don’t believe He wants to use us. We think our failures keep us from having a place in the kingdom. But today we’ll see our failures are exactly what make us useful to God.
