Epic Church Elders

The office of Elder is a biblical concept found in 1 Timothy and Titus, and lived out in the book of Acts.  At Epic Church our elders have all gone through a process of scrutiny to ensure that they are men who live up to the biblical standards found in scripture.  They have also been a part of a leadership intensive called LEAD to learn what it means to lead like Jesus.

Many churches have different forms of polity and structure, but at Epic Church we seek to structure ourselves as closely as we can to what we understand the biblical example of the early church was.  That is an elder protected church – meaning that the elders protect and steward the vision and values of the church maintaining unity and shepherding the local body of Christ at Epic.  The eldership is the final word on any issue in the church that is potentially causing division.
